After many years in which my husband and I ran various sites, we decided a long time ago to delete or merge some of them.
On the one hand, the time required became too much for us, and on the other hand, private homepages are less up-to-date these days. Providers such as Instagram and Facebook have long since replaced them.
Longer page texts or stories are viewed for a maximum of 10 seconds due to today's click behaviour and then we move on. As a result, nothing is read properly and of course not understood.
Today, it must be possible to consume information in a matter of seconds. Short videos are the present and probably also the future.
My private site ‘Vibeke’, my husband's site ‘Doc Elch’, the crawler group's site and a few others fell victim to this.
We have now gone and integrated some of this content into this site. This means that only a single page needs to be updated.
From now on only our own models are shown in the RC Hobby section, unless others are also in the picture.
Also, this page is now only available in German and not in Swedish and English. The effort was enormous for content that is not so important.
Of course some people will be sad, but I also think that you can understand us a little. Homepages cost a lot of time and even money.
